Bessel function analysis of harmonic distortion in semiconductor lasers

摘要
Harmonic distortion in injection lasers is predicted by using rate equations. Analytical solutions to these equations are obtained by linearisation. Illustrative results are presented, which show a significant improvement in the third-order harmonic characteristic.
