原始岩画艺术的符号与象征

岩画是涂绘或凿刻在岩石上的图画。岩画作为一种原始的艺术形式 ,最初是原始人因生产和生活的需要 ,而对自然界和现实社会的一种符号记录和摹写 ,很少有特定的含义。随着生产力的发展和生产活动的增加 ,原始人有了表达各种思维活动和心理意愿的要求 ,于是便赋予岩画某些象征意义 ,这时的岩画无疑表现出了较强的艺术性 ,具有较高的审美价值。因此 ,对原始岩画艺术的研究和挖掘 ,具有重要意义。
Rock paintings are pictures painted or carved on rocks.Being a primitive artistic form, at the very beginning they were signs record and description of nature and reality to meet the production and living needs of primitive men, seldom denoted anything special.
